Some silly thing that I drew.

These are some of my OCs playing pool together. As you can see the boys take the game much seriously than the girls.
The colors kinda look like crap; I tried to make it look old fashioned but I guess it kinda failed.

The pictures on the back wall are all past pieces that I drew.

I don't think there's a lot about this picture that hasn't already been addressed by yourself. I personally think the coloring's alright, aside from what seems to be a lack of enthusiasm in the background, but that's quite fine; experiment and learn, as they say. The only other suggestion I can offer you here is that you might want to try to play around with the length of the fingers, as they look a bit too uniform. Try reminding yourself every time you sketch hands that the middle finger is the longest of all, but the index is longer than ring. It might (or might not) surprise you as to how that might come out. Otherwise, though, I think you're still better than me at that department.

For some reason, the girl in the dress seated at the table is a real eye-catcher. There's something beautifully simplistic that makes her simply beautiful, something that makes her stand out despite not being extremely noteworthy compared to the much more elaborately-dressed boys and girl around her, yet I can't quite catch what it is. It might be the hair and the gentle expression on her face, if I had to guess. If that was intentional, great job; you've got me good. ^_^
